CancerCare recently received a $400,000 grant from The Mary Kay Foundation to provide financial assistance to women with any cancer diagnosis.

Although it has been over four months since Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria made landfall in the United States, many are still reeling from the after effects and are in the process of rebuilding. In these communities, some people still do not have access to basic necessities, such as electricity and clean water. In response, CancerCare, in partnership with the Community Oncology Alliance, raised almost $665,000 in direct financial assistance for people with cancer who have been impacted by the recent hurricanes.

CancerCare recently partnered with Sephora to bring a Brave Beauty in the Face of Cancer class to our clients.

In addition to sponsoring a team, local restaurant Little Pub brings Fairfield Walk/Run participants together to celebrate after the race with a free drink or kid’s meal.

Now through October 31, 2017, Caribou Coffee will donate 10 percent of Amy’s Blend purchases to CancerCare.

When Stephanie’s best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, CancerCare’s counseling services provided both women with support. Now, Stephanie is giving back at CancerCare’s Fairfield Walk/Run for Hope.

The CancerCare for Kids Back-to-School program provided backpacks filled with school supplies to over 100 children and teens coping with a cancer diagnosis in the family.
