Pet Assistance & Wellness Program (PAW)
Caring for your pet when you have cancer can be challenging, and we are here to help. Our PAW Program assists people undergoing cancer treatment with the challenges of keeping their cat or dog at home.
CancerCare for Kids
Provides free, professional support services for parents, children and adolescents affected by cancer, as well as information about helping children understand cancer and additional resources.
Caregivers often put their own needs or feelings aside while caring for their loved one. Taking good care of yourself is an important part of being a caregiver.
Provides information and resources to people of color, LGBTQ+ and other marginalized people who have faced barriers to health care access, including treatment, information and support.
Healing Hearts Family Bereavement Camp
A free retreat offering therapeutic activities for families with children coping with the loss of a loved one to cancer.
CancerCare provides a field placement opportunity for advanced clinical students who have an interest in the field of oncology social work.
Magnolia Meals at Home
This is a meal delivery program that aims to help people with cancer by providing nourishing meals to households affected by cancer. The program is currently available in and around Woodcliff Lake, NJ and Andover, MA, Raleigh-Durham, NC and New Haven, CT (as well areas in New York, New Hampshire and Boston, MA).
MaidPro, a professional home cleaning company has partnered with CancerCare to provide free housekeeping services for people with cancer in specific New Jersey towns.
Men's Cancers Program
Provides specialized services and resources to help male-identifying individuals affected by cancer. Our professional oncology social workers provide practical and emotional support.
Older Adult Program
Provides information, resources and support to help older people and their loved ones better cope with cancer.
Provides free telephone resource navigation to people living with cancer, post-treatment survivors and caregivers affected by cancer.
Time to Screen
A collaboration between the CancerCare and the Community Oncology Alliance (COA) to encourage people to take control of their health by getting recommended cancer screenings back on track.
Women's Cancers Program
Provides specialized services and resources to help female-identifying individuals coping with cancer. Our professional oncology social workers provide practical and emotional support.
Young Adult Program
People between the ages of 18 and 40 often face unique challenges when coping with cancer. CancerCare provides specialized services for young adults.
