CancerCare of Port Washington, New York
CancerCare of Port Washington has been fundraising on Long Island since 1971 to support CancerCare’s national programs. Through events like our annual Red Stocking Revue, we raise vital funds—and we welcome anyone interested in getting involved to contact us.
Join us for our 2026 fundraiser show, Live From Port Washington: It’s Red Stocking Revue—a fun, fast-paced homage to Saturday Night Live. Held April 10–12 at the Landmark on Main Street in Port Washington. The show features comedy, music, and local business-sponsored stage ad parodies, all in support of CancerCare.
CancerCare of Port Washington holds numerous fundraising events, including variety shows, New Year's Eve celebrations, Zumba-thons, bingo nights, Halloween parties, concerts and more.
These events are made possible by the generous volunteers who dedicate their time and efforts to hold engaging community events that benefit CancerCare. These events also help raise awareness of how CancerCare can help anyone affected by cancer.

About Us
Since 1971, the Port Washington/Manhasset Chapter of CancerCare has brought neighbors together to raise funds and awareness for individuals and families affected by cancer in our area. What began as a small, effort has grown into a volunteer‑driven organization that hosts and participates in local events throughout the year, including the long‑running Red Stocking Revue and a variety of other shows, parties, and community fundraisers.
Over the decades, dedicated volunteers, performers, sponsors, and supporters have helped our Chapter contribute financially to CancerCare’s free professional services for patients, caregivers, and families, to bring help and hope. Today, our Chapter continues this tradition, welcoming new generations of volunteers and supporters to carry this work forward.
