Phi Beta Kappa Association of New York Donates Gifts for Children and Teens Affected by Cancer

alt textCancerCare wishes to extend our warmest thanks to the Phi Beta Kappa (PBK) Association of New York! The national academic honor society recently donated funds and gifts to CancerCare clients at its 2017 Holiday Party & Toy Drive.

CancerCare’s Director of Education and Training, Dr. Carolyn Messner, DSW, OSW-C, LCSW-R, FAPOS, is a long-time member of PBK and the current Vice President of the PBK Association of New York. Dr. Messner shares: “CancerCare is very grateful for the generosity of the members of The PBK Association of New York. By donating to CancerCare, they helped ensure that local children and teens impacted by cancer will experience the joy of opening a gift at this time of year. Each gift was thoughtfully selected by the PBK members to brighten the lives of these children and teens and their families.”

CancerCare helps anyone affected by any type or stage of cancer. Learn more about our programs for children and teens.
