Tic Tac® Mints Launches 2011 Shake, Share & Care Campaign in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness and CancerCare

The Tic Tac® brand announced today the launch of its 2011 Shake, Share & Care campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness and CancerCare, a nonprofit organization providing free support services to people affected by cancer.

As part of the campaign, which marks the seventh year of the Tic Tac brand's partnership and commitment to CancerCare, Tic Tac® will again make a $100,000 donation to the charity.

Tic Tac® has also launched the Tic Tac® Extraordinary Caregiver Contest on the Tic Tac® USA Facebook page to honor the many caregivers that have dedicated themselves to helping people affected by cancer.

The 2011 Tic Tac® Extraordinary Caregiver Contest will ask consumers to shake things up by nominating and voting for the most deserving caregivers who have dedicated themselves to people affected by cancer. Three extraordinary caregivers will each receive $2,5001 to use toward an extraordinary experience, and the nominators of the three winning entries will each receive a $500 gift card2. In honor of CancerCare and Breast Cancer Awareness, Tic Tac® has again made available the popular limited edition Pink Grapefruit flavor. The mints have a deliciously fruity, tangy and sweet flavor - a perfectly refreshing mint for the fall. The limited edition Pink Grapefruit flavor will be available at select drug, grocery and convenience stores from August through November 2011.

Tic Tac® and CancerCare know that cancer affects everyone, including celebrities and their families, which is why the brand is thrilled to be a part of the excitement surrounding the 2011 EMMY Awards. Tic Tac® will also present its $100,000 donation to CancerCare in a ceremony at the Luxury Gift Lounge to honor CancerCare's commitment to helping all those affected by cancer.
Additionally, each celebrity and influencer that visits the GBK Luxury Gift Lounge will be able to view a red carpet worthy dress with matching shoes and accessories made out of Pink Grapefruit, Power Mint and Fresh Mint Tic Tac® mints in honor of CancerCare. They will also receive a "Red Carpet Survival Kit" consisting of a cosmetic case filled with all necessary items for the big day.
