Description

In partnership with Debbie’s Dream Foundation, CancerCare is hosting a workshop to address coping with stomach cancer during the holidays. Holidays are traditionally viewed as a time to celebrate. Many people enjoy reuniting with family and friends, exchanging gifts and celebrating religious traditions during this time. However, sometimes people with cancer and their loved ones feel “out of step” from the rest of the world during the holidays. This is especially true for those diagnosed with stomach cancer. Join us for a 90 minute psychoeducational workshop hosted by Shannon Coon, LMSW, discussing ways to cope with the challenges that arise when navigating a cancer diagnosis during the holidays, There will be time at the end for discussion and Q&A.
