Vilmarie Rodriguez, MSW, LCSW

Vice President of Patient Assistance and Community Engagement

Vilmarie is the Vice President of Patient Assistance and Community Engagement and a member of both the Association of Oncology Social Work (AOSW) and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She presented at poster at the AOSW conference in 2004 entitled, “Helping Hispanic Patients Find Their Voice” and was a Hispanic/Latino Advisory Board Member for the LIVESTRONG Foundation from 2007-2012. She received the Emerald Leader Award of the National Association of Social Workers – New York City Chapter (NASW-NYC) in 2019. Vilmarie is bilingual (Spanish).

Vilmarie shares, “It gives me great pride to be a part of an organization that puts the needs of cancer patients first. To be able to speak to so many individuals affected by cancer and know that our interaction will make a difference is very fulfilling.”
