Living With Loss: Spouse and Partner Bereavement Support Group
The loss of a spouse or partner can be a very difficult time. You may find yourself experiencing feelings of sadness, anger, frustration and confusion. Although these feelings are normal and common, they can leave you feeling alone at times, and you may feel like you have no one to talk to. Join and share your story of love, loss and hope with others experiencing a similar journey.
Description
CancerCare is offering a free, 12-week live support group for people in New Jersey who have experienced the loss of a spouse or partner due to cancer in the last 18 months. This group will provide a safe place to exchange support, get information and receive guidance while discussing the unique challenges of grief and loss.
Our Groups:
- Provide cancer-focused bereavement support
- Reduces feelings of loneliness, anxiety and distress
- Help increase feelings of hope and empowerment
- Assist you in learning new ways of coping
- Help you improve communication with your loved ones
- Provide you with practical information and resources in your community
This group will utilize a secure video platform. Group members will still have the option to call in if they do not have access to video technology.

Registration for the June 2026 cycle is currently open. This group meets weekly on Mondays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. ET.
