CancerCare®'s Festival of Hope Gala Raises Over $100,000 in Support of People Affected by Cancer
CancerCare® is pleased to announce that its 38th annual Festival of Hope Gala, held on May 13 at the Park Savoy in Florham Park, New Jersey, raised over $100,000 to support cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and the bereaved.
“At its heart, the Festival of Hope is about ensuring that no one has to face cancer alone,” said Christine Verini, CEO of CancerCare. “The generosity shown by our honorees, sponsors, guests and supporters helps CancerCare respond to urgent needs with compassion and expertise, from counseling and support groups to practical guidance and financial assistance.”
CancerCare's Festival of Hope Gala presented Biolumina, a full-service marketing and communications agency, with the 2026 Dorothy Schachne Corporate Achievement Award, recognizing the agency’s meaningful contributions to patients, caregivers and the broader health care community.
The Festival of Hope Gala is an annual opportunity to honor individuals and organizations that have made substantial contributions to improving the lives of people affected by cancer through their partnerships with CancerCare. Oncology professionals, health care providers, representatives from major corporations, cancer survivors and members of the community participate in this event.
CancerCare extends its heartfelt thanks to all sponsors of this year’s gala, including Presenting Sponsor Biolumina, Patron Sponsors Gilead-Kite, Merck and Pfizer and Contributor Sponsor Johnson & Johnson and to the families and individual contributors who stand with us in our mission to provide emotional, practical and financial support to people impacted by cancer.
