CancerCare® Festival of Hope Gala Raises Over $140,000 in Support of People Affected by Cancer

CancerCare® is pleased to announce that its 37th annual Festival of Hope Gala, held on May 14 at the Park Savoy in Florham Park, New Jersey, raised over $140,000 to support cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and the bereaved.

“We were honored and grateful to see everyone who attended and contributed to our organization’s support programs,” said Christine Verini, CEO, CancerCare. “For over 80 years, our mission has been to provide emotional, practical and financial support to people affected by cancer. The funds raised go directly to supporting all our free services.

CancerCare's Festival of Hope Gala was proud to honor Johnson & Johnson with the 2025 Dorothy Schachne Corporate Achievement Award.

“At Johnson & Johnson, we are deeply committed to getting in front of cancer—not just with breakthrough science, but by standing beside patients every step of the way,” said June Lanoue, U.S. President, Hematology, Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. “Collaborating with CancerCare allows us to support the emotional and practical needs that are just as vital as medical treatment. We are incredibly honored by this recognition.”

The Festival of Hope Gala is an annual opportunity to honor individuals and organizations that have made substantial contributions to improving the lives of people affected by cancer through their partnerships with CancerCare. Oncology professionals, health care providers, representatives from major corporations, as well as cancer survivors and members of the community participate in this event.

CancerCare extends its heartfelt thanks to all sponsors of this year’s gala, including Presenting Sponsor Johnson & Johnson, Benefactor Sponsor Merck, Patron Sponsors Eisai and Pfizer and to the families and individual contributors who stand with us in our mission to provide emotional, practical and financial support to people impacted by cancer.
