CancerCare Hosts Free Wig Clinics With Local Hospitals
For many women undergoing cancer treatment, changes in appearance can be one of the most personal and emotional challenges they face. Every woman deserves to feel confident and cared for throughout her journey. That's why our Wig Clinics are designed to help women look and feel their best, during treatment and beyond.
Throughout the year, CancerCare hosts free wig clinics in partnership with trusted hospitals, including St. Joseph's University Medical Center in New Jersey and the Cancer Institute at St. Francis Hospital on Long Island.
In addition to our ongoing in-person clinics at our New York and New Jersey offices, these special events bring our services directly to patients in the places they're already receiving care. This makes it easier and more comfortable for them to try on and receive a free wig in a safe, supportive environment, with no extra travel or appointments required.
These clinics provide moments of hope, dignity and self-expression, in addition to offering a sense of normalcy and self-confidence at a time when patients need it most.
We are deeply grateful to our hospital partners for helping make these clinics possible, and we are honored to support the incredible women who attend.
