The Director of Alliance Development and Advocacy is responsible for the cultivation and management of alliances in the oncology community along with the development and advancement of CancerCare’s national public policy agenda. This position is based in CancerCare’s New York City office and reports to the Chief Program and Communications Officer.New York City
The Senior Special Events Manager is responsible for events held in the Northeast, primarily the tri-state area. This position requires an extensive working knowledge in the special events field, prior walk/run experience and experience in volunteer management is preferred. He/she must have demonstrated success in fundraising and supervisory experience.
Along with other members of the CancerCare Special Events team, the Manager will be involved with planning, outreach, securing volunteer leadership, increasing participation levels and sponsorship commitments to achieve specific defined revenue and participation goals. The position is accountable for meeting ambitious recruitment objectives as well as financial goals.
The Senior Special Events Manager position reports to the Chief Development Officer and is involved in building and executing the national special events strategy. The Manager supervises CancerCare’s special event staff coordinators who provide administrative and organizational support to all the CancerCare Special Events. He/She must be able to work evenings and weekends and willing to travel to manage activities in a variety of locations throughout the northeast.New York City
The Website Development Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management and updating of the technical aspects of CancerCare’s websites and ensures their design, functionality and operability reflect the organization’s mission and services.
