The Longest Day of Golf is a unique fundraiser for hearty golfers. These dedicated CancerCare supporters meet at dawn at the golf course and play golf through to dusk. Most play 100 holes or more in one day!

How is this a fundraiser? Participants raise funds by asking friends and family to sponsor their day of golf. In the past ten years, this event has raised nearly two million dollars to fund CancerCare’s free, professional support services.

This year, golfers can choose to play on May 7, June 4, July 9, or July 23.

Join fellow golfers and CancerCare supporters at the CancerCare Classic Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at The Creek Club in Locust Valley, Long Island for a day of golfing and good fun! With breathtaking views of The Creek’s award-winning 18-hole course, fantastic cuisine including a stellar surf and turf dinner, a great group of people, and a bevy of fantastic raffle prizes, you are sure to have a wonderful time while raising crucial funds for CancerCare’s free, professional support services.

Taste for Hope^® showcases of North Jersey’s finest cuisine and area wine merchants. The event is presented by Unilever and will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at the prestigious Royal Manor in Garfield, New Jersey, starting at 6:30 p.m. and featuring live entertainment and a chance auction. Proceeds from A Taste for Hope will ensure the continuity of CancerCare’s free, professional support services to individuals and families affected by cancer.

CancerCare is seeking volunteers in areas such as event planning, auction donations, ticket sales and sponsorship.

The CancerCare Annual Spring Gala is an opportunity for us to honor individuals and corporations that have made substantial contributions in supporting CancerCare and to improving the lives of people touched by cancer. This event also raises crucial funds for and increases awareness of the organization’s free, professional support services.

As the demand increases for CancerCare’s programs and services, the funds raised through this event are critical. This year we expect the Gala to raise over $600,000 through contributions, event ticket purchases, and journal advertisements. Sponsorships range from $10,000 to $100,000.

The Survivor is a 100-hole marathon two-person scramble played at Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton, California. It is very fast, a lot of fun, and an endurance test for anyone brave enough to become a “survivor.” Each 18-hole round is completed in just under 90 minutes.
