    CancerCare’s Longest Day of Golf is unique fundraiser that brings golfers together to compete against each other to complete as many holes as possible in one full day. Participants create personal fundraising pages and reach out to family, friends and business associates to pledge a dollar amount based on an estimated 100 holes. Most golfers play 100 holes or more!

    For nearly 20 years, Longest Day of Golf event has given the most dedicated lovers of the sport an opportunity to truly test their limits and secure bragging rights while raising substantial funds and awareness for CancerCare’s free professional services for all those affected by cancer. Since 1995, this unique golf marathon has raised over $2 million in a single day in some of Connecticut’s most exclusive private clubs and all in support of CancerCare’s services.

    The Longest Day of Golf takes place on Mondays in May, June, July, August and September.

    Please join us in Connecticut for the 8th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Hope at beautiful Jennings Beach on Sunday, October 4th. With the support of walkers and runners alike, the event continues to raise crucial support for CancerCare’s free, professional support services provided to anyone affected by cancer.

    The race is a USATF-NJ certified 5K run.

    Registration begins at 7:45 a.m., and the official start time is 9:00 a.m.
