Coping with the loss of a loved is one of the most difficult journeys we take in life. Loss can bring up complex and often intense feelings of sadness, anger, regret, and even relief. Though these are common reactions to loss, they may often feel difficult to cope with and can lead to feelings of isolation. Sharing your story of loss with others who are experiencing a similar situation can help lessen feelings of isolation, provide comfort, and strengthen your ability to cope with your loss.
CancerCare invites anyone who has lost a loved a one to cancer in the past 18 months to participate in a face-to-face support group, led by a professional oncology social worker. This groups takes place on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
