CancerCare® to Host 35th Annual Festival of Hope Gala on May 17, 2023

CancerCare®, the leading national nonprofit organization providing free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer, is thrilled to announce the 35th Annual Festival of Hope Gala will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Park Savoy, in Florham Park, New Jersey.

This annual event is an important opportunity to honor individuals and organizations that have made substantial contributions to improving the lives of people affected by cancer through their partnerships with CancerCare. “We are excited to celebrate the courage and resilience of our community and continue our mission of providing help and hope to those affected by cancer,” said Kathy Nugent, LCSW, CancerCare's Senior Director of Regional Programs.

This year, CancerCare is excited to announce that the recipient of the 2023 Corporate Achievement Award is Daiichi Sankyo, a global pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing novel therapies and educational resources for people with cancer, as well as other diseases with high unmet medical needs.

Accepting the Corporate Achievement Award on behalf of Daiichi Sankyo, Gissoo DeCotiis, Global Head of Advocacy & Strategic Relations, said: “We are honored to be recognized by CancerCare for our commitment to ensuring all people affected by cancer have the information and support they need throughout their cancer journey.
