All proceeds of book sales of “Be Kind: A Story of Bella and Muffy” support CancerCare’s free services and programs.

After losing their beloved mentor and friend Molly Chernofsky to lung cancer, the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Sholom joined the Lung Cancer Walk for Hope to help others like her.

Thanks to a generous contribution from The Tutu Project for the Carey Foundation, women across the country can access financial assistance as they cope with the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis.

CancerCare is pleased to announce the availability of financial assistance for women with breast cancer thanks to a generous contribution from The Tutu Project™ for the Carey Foundation.

Joyce came to CancerCare after experiencing the loss of her husband to cancer. She shares,“The support [CancerCare] provided saved my life, and I hope to be able to spread awareness so that others may be impacted in the same way that I have.” Putting her gratitude into action, Joyce has become a passionate advocate for CancerCare, and is now being honored at CancerCare’s 2016 Festival of Hope Gala.

CancerCare wishes to express our immense gratitude to the Avon Foundation for Women for awarding our organization a $650,000 grant to support the AvonCares program, which has provided direct financial assistance to more than 80,000 low-income breast cancer patients in 50 states since 2000. The grant was presented at AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer, which concluded this past weekend in New York.

For the third year, Caribou Coffee offered its Caribou Coffee Amy’s Blend collection of coffee, tea and merchandise from September 27 through October 31, donating 10% of all retail coffeehouse proceeds to CancerCare. The collection was named in honor of the company’s original roastmaster, Amy Erickson.
