CancerCare Holiday Party Brings Over 130 Clients Together

alt text CancerCare, in partnership with Eisai, brought over 130 clients affected by cancer together in New Jersey for a festive holiday party in December. Families, adults, children and caregivers were all welcome, along with staff and volunteers.

Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to participate in crafts including paper snowflake ornaments, gingerbread cookie decorating, snow globes and holiday picture frames. They also enjoyed dinner, dessert and the very popular chocolate fountain. Guests also got into the festive spirit with a holiday DJ, dancing and a photo booth.

alt text Clients loved the opportunity to gather in-person with other people involved with CancerCare, feel cared for during the holiday season and make new memories with their family.

“Thank you for a wonderful evening! We enjoyed it all – crafts, music, delicious food and the fabulous chocolate fountain,” shared one attendee. “Great way to kick off the holiday season!”

alt text Kathy Nugent, LCSW, Senior Director of Regional Programs at CancerCare added, “This annual holiday party is a special gift for our clients, many of whom we met face-to-face for the first time. It is truly an evening to embrace the holidays and send good cheer.”

CancerCare is grateful to all of its supporters who help year after year to make the holiday season brighter for our community.
