CancerCare of New Jersey
CancerCare is a national nonprofit organization that provides free professional support services to anyone affected by cancer: people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones, and the bereaved. CancerCare programs – including counseling, education, financial assistance and practical help – are provided by trained oncology social workers and are completely free of charge.
CancerCare of New Jersey was founded in 1982 to ensure that New Jersey residents had full access to all CancerCare programs. CancerCare of New Jersey provides individual help to more than 11,000 people each year.

- Color of Grief
A free art workshop for bereaved teenagers who have lost a loved one to cancer. A social worker and an art teacher co-facilitate this program.

- Kids Workshops
Free therapeutic workshops for children who are coping with a cancer related illness or loss within their family. Each workshop gives children a chance to interact with other kids in similar situations.

- Pajama Party for Kids
CancerCare is collaborating with Morristown Memorial Hospital for a one-time event for kids. This free Pajama Party event is being held for kids who are coping with a cancer related illness or loss within their family. Pizza will be served and games/crafts will be available. A simultaneous group for parents will be facilitated by a social worker.
