CancerCare offers the following supportive services for survivors and their loved ones. As always, our services are free and provided in both English and Spanish.
Counseling
Talk with an oncology social worker one-on-one who can help you cope with survivorship concerns by providing emotional and practical support. Meet with someone in person or over the phone.
Support Groups
Connect with others to share support, resources and tips for managing the challenges of life after treatment. All groups are led by a professional oncology social worker.
We currently offer the following types of groups for post-treatment survivors:
- Online Support Groups — Password-protected and accessible anytime
- Face-to-Face Support Groups — At our New York City office
- Telephone Support Groups — Currently accepting new members
