Focus On

Counseling

A cancer diagnosis brings many emotional and practical challenges. You can make the experience more manageable with one-on-one counseling with a professional social worker at CancerCare. Our toll-free Counseling and Information Help Line connects each caller directly to a CancerCare social worker who can help. In addition to emotional support, our social workers assist with practical issues such as where to find financial help and reliable resources.

CancerCare is grateful to Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), whose generous grant supports the operation of our help line.

To speak with an oncology social worker, call us at 1-800-813-HOPE (4673).
